After 3 years of being part of DA with this account, and off and on with an older account... I think i'm about done with DA. The reason I see no value here anymore, is that I don't learn anything here anymore.  I'm not saying that with some ego.  I know my work needs help... and in the old days, people would offer helpful critiques to help me grow.  Before we had an official "critique" system, I would get feedback on my work... like, "the boat in your coast scene is too large..." or "I prefer the orange glow vs the blue."  I always had something to help me grow as an artist... I've been uploading for the past year, and I get very little feed

Adobe pinged me to extend my monthly sub of Photoshop and convert it to Adobe cloud... the introductory offer was less then I was paying, and I get access to all adobe products, and their cloud service. So that's all Adobe software for $29.99 a month.  The software can be downloaded to multiple computers!  It just can't be run simultaneously. I think that's pretty amazing.

This past weekend I had made some pretty good progress on a character model in Zbrush.  I was following some work by a tutorial I saw from Mike Jensen from eat3D.  I was just getting to the hard surfaces - I created several hard surfaces, worked on a lot of topology problems, got some good results for my beginner skill level... and I saved. I made several versions (different ztool names) and kept saving.  But I had made a mistake.  A major mistake. A mistake I never heard of.
